The only value in money is the belief that buyer and seller place in it as a medium of exchange. Take your dollars or Euros or pounds or yen to another planet and they would have no value there. Value is entirely a function of human belief.
How far-fetched is the claim that Google’s artificial intelligence now possesses real intelligence, a consciousness? What would we do, if it could be proven that the machine has developed its own intelligence? Would the machine remain our friend, or become our foe?
